At FOCUS Inc. we have strong beliefs about what works to help clients improve their results. Our beliefs have led us to develop a set of operating principles that define our relationships with our clients. Here are just a few examples:

  • Our engagement with you will involve, from start to finish, those managers who will be responsible for making the key decisions and implementing them.

  • We work with industry leaders who want to learn state-of-the-art strategic management processes and apply them to their businesses. We do not give you another consulting report.

  • Confidentiality is a requirement. We have a two-way nondisclosure agreement. We do not reveal any client information — including the name of your company — to anyone else. Likewise, we require you to keep our proprietary concepts confidential

  • We do not work with your competitors.

  • We are experts in the development and implementation of business and corporate strategies, not in a specific business or industry.

  • We don't try to help everyone. We offer a limited range of services. If we do not believe that we are the right firm to help you, we recommend someone else.

  • Fact-based decision-making is better than opinion-driven decision-making. Good data drives out opinions. We help you get the data and make good decisions.

  • Problem-solving techniques are useful but usually insufficient. We use systems-level processes to help you.

  • We deliver our services on time, on budget, every time.
